21 on this walk, I believe our largest group ever
Despite sending maps of start point, six got lost
So the walk started 15 minutes late
The last time we did this walk was 17 January 2019
And we discovered a new, and easier, route off Javea beach
The weather forecast was for heavy winds, but in fact it was very calm
There is a new, well signed, path on Cap Prim
But it still visits all of my favourite view points
And the views remain pretty spectacular
Despite the temperature it was cold enough to warrant jackets
I was surprise, but pleased, when Nico presented me with a bell for my walking stick
Not much sun, but still great views
I offered an extension to Sardine Bay, but the group declined
Many were finding the planned route challenging enough
The sun came out as we reached Portichol beach
Which prompted Joke to go for a swim!
Everyone was full of admiration, but none joined her
The climb up from the beach was just as difficult as I remember
And the return walk along Javea beach longer than I remember
At almost 3 euro for a beer the bar was just as expensive as I remember
Temperature – 17c
Time taken – 5 hours
Distance – 12km
