We had planned to walk to Bernia fort today
But there was a red warning of heavy winds in exposed locations
So we changed it to this valley walk, which was planned for next week
Hopefully we will be able to do the Bernia walk next week
There were 15 of us walking today
Including Alan, who has been poorly for a few weeks
Lovely to welcome him back to the group
Despite the weather warning it was lovely in the valley
Warm sun and a gentle cool breeze made for ideal walking conditions
Bernia is less than an hour drive from here
But the weather may well have been completely different in the mountains
We went to Riu Rau for our after walk drinks
Lovely end to a very pleasant walk
